Greets, amanda-users, I considery ebaying some (dozens of) HP C5141F tapes for my DLT8000 drive from Quantum (the manual tells me to use exactly those tapes).
The seller says the tapes were written to with a VS80-drive and that it is possible that this format stays somehow permanently written to the tape so that I would not be able to re-use it with my DLT8000. I am unsure about this and would like to hear your thoughts and/or experiences. Additional info: According to him the tapes were only written once and archived then ... Thanks a lot, Stefan
