What's in the "FAILED AND STRANGE DUMP DETAILS" section of the email report?

I found out, following a previous reply suggestion, errors like these:

/--  omni / lev 1 FAILED [dump (16333) /usr/bin/tar returned 2]
sendbackup: start [omni:/ level 1]
sendbackup: info BACKUP=/usr/bin/tar
sendbackup: info RECOVER_CMD=/usr/bin/gzip -dc |/usr/bin/tar -xpGf - ...
sendbackup: info COMPRESS_SUFFIX=.gz
sendbackup: info end

Then I found out that I had a NFS partition half-mounted in /mnt; I say half-mounted because the remote files were there, but the mount command didn't reported it! I did an umount /mnt followed by a amdump CFG omni / and all went well.

Which amanda release?

VERSION="Amanda-2.5.2p1"

Which tar release?

tar (GNU tar) 1.16.1

Did you upgraded something on the system?

Yeah. Some packages from slackware and amanda itself.

Thank you all for the provided help,
