"compress none" turns off compression of the data, but amanda will
still compress the indexes. You can check your tape contents to
verify that the data there is uncompressed.

I suppose that there shouldn't be a "gzip --best" if I disable the
compression. I also tried to use the directive "compress fast" in the "define
dumptype" section, but no luck. "gzip --best" is still there (it should at
least change to "gzip --fast").
