Hi All,
I am on a test system and need to test a backup. But cannot test it as
its not allowing me to run it more than once a day.
In the logs/ mail I receive this
*** A TAPE ERROR OCCURRED: [No writable valid tape found].
Some dumps may have been left in the holding disk.
Run amflush to flush them to tape.
The next tape Amanda expects to use is: a new tape.
And my tape schedule is
# using one tape daily for 5 days
dumpcycle 1 week
runspercycle 5
runtapes 1
tapecycle 6 tapes
# usetimestamps is set to yes for multiple backup per day
usetimestamps yes
Please tell me what is wrong and what i can do to fix it.
