[Amanda-users] Scheduling backups

Sorry to steal this topic from you amit.. :)
Thanks for the clarification Jon and Paul. 
I have few more doubts:


- So 'the first amdump run' will always give a full backup. (The first run for 
the particular DLE in particular configuration, and not the first run in the 
dumpcycle.)
- Is it possible to specify incremental backup levels 0-9 or does Amanda 
selects it automatically? 
- I have attached a summary of my recent amdump run. I would like to know why 
particular backup was preponed to run as a full backup? Does that mean no full 
backup in the next dumpcycle. The dumcycle is of 1 week and runspercycle is 5. 
The above statistics is for the second run. 
- I have some other questions regarding run time and holdingdisk configuration. 
I am making a new post for it with a proper subject.
