Well, the functionality you're looking for isn't currently supported,
so that's true.

Note that, in 2.6.1, there's a new (Perl) Changer API that has a bit
more support for such things.  Currently, chg-zd-mtx hasn't been
reimplemented in this new API, but it should happen soon.  Are you
interested in helping out?
