Don't know why I didn't think of that. Using Fedora Core 11's tar works well. Thank you! CentOS's tar does support the xattrs flag but it wasn't working with all the options used by Amanda - the Fedora Core version does. -- Anyone who believes exponential growth can go on forever in a finite world, is either a madman or an economist.
