I don't know what increments the counting mechanism, as this is the first time I've noticed this and I frequently have amanda dump reports showing a single DLE on a tape I'd assumed that only completed DLEs tripped the counter. It may be that with tape spanning integral that a partial DLE will do it, and that the systems reporting only a single DLE on a tape are all from older (pre-tape spanning) versions. > jl > -- > Jon H.
