You rae correct. The machines that I am having (new) issues with are still
using UDP. I suppose our network cotinues to dgrade :-( I thought Debbie
and I changed _all_ machines to TCP this summer, but it appears that we
left some clients using UDP. Looks like this won't work going foward. The
machines in question are theSolaris 5 ones. Looks like they are at:

amandad: version 2.4.3b4

I gues we may have done this because this version does not support
bsd_auth, would that be the case? If so, what is the earlist version that
supports that feature?
