linuxquestions.org is currently running their Members Choice Awards
poll. Amanda is listed in the category of Backup Application of the
Year. It is a slightly odd conglomeration of tools and software that
hardly belong in the same category (from tar and cpio to rsync to
Amanda), but I think it is important for us to get in there and make
sure Amanda ends up as high in the rankings as possible.
If you are not already a member of linuxquestions.org, you will have to
join in order to vote. However, it is painless, easy and free. While you
are voting, you can also say a thing or two about Amanda and why you
like it. Voting closes on February 9th at Noon.
