Upgrading tar to 1.22 seems to have made no difference. Hoping to see some
error message, I tried to run the runtar command (as seen in the log
below) manually as backup user, but only thing it says is:
runtar: Can only be used to create tar archives
indicating that it's not happy about the arguments.
Any more debugging ideas would be welcome.
