I can use the application-tool-stuff out-of-the-box? And since this is a
dumptype-parameter I can put it on the server, therefore I don't have to do
anything on the clients? What about the amanda-version of the clients? Does it
have to be 2.6.1 too, or would 2.5.2 be sufficient?

Heck, I didn't realize 2.6.1 was capable of this :)
