"TAPE ERROR" is a harsh way to put it. Rest assured that the "tape error", in this case, is due to your own deliberate action to delay writing to tape until your "flush-threshold-dumped criteria" *are* met, ie. things are working exactly as requested. This message will be softened in the next release to reflect the intended action. Paul
