Side comment Robert, but if you are doing it daily, then runspercycle
should also be 7. Your are in effect telling amanda its only being run once
per week.

Because amanda shuffles the level schedule, its likely that no one of your
weekly backups will be all level 0's. Amanda does this to equalize, within
the limits of the sizes of the dle's, the amount of media used per run.

So you will have to pick and chose, and while it at it, compose a "monthly"
database of index files that it could use for recovery purposes that
contains only those level 0's being archived.

I do not know if anyone has written that function yet, the man page for
amvault in 3.1.2 looks like it could be a start, but for immediate use, I
would simply force a run at all level 0's in a separate "Monthly" (from the
"Daily" most of us use) configuration directory alongside the Daily one.
That would require a 2nd batch of tapes to be labeled for that use, and
probably a "runtapes" setting greater than 1, depending on the size of a
full level 0 backup. And holding disk big enough to hold it all if someone
forgets to reload the library with the monthly tapes if its set to run on
the 1st of the month by a crontab entry. I believe the phrase is "stuff
happens?" ;-)
