What you have should be fine, actually - the only failures were in the
installcheck (so don't run that) and the POD (which is just
documentation). So you got all of the necessary code changes.
I run "make install" that fails with the following:

Then I copied the files Utils.pm, Script_App.pm and Util.swg manually to
"/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Amanda/" but amcheck still answers with errors:
