With Amrestore, I get the error
Got no header and data from server

Also, i have tried

amarchiver --list --file
00001.guass.engr.ccny.cuny.edu._home1_skgottipati.0
amar_read: Invalid archive header

Note:- This tape exist and it seems to contain some form of data in it.
