For Amanda 2.6.1p1-20091023.
We had a problem where a user caused a DLE to increase to
large then the size of a tape.
This has been corrected, but I find myself wondering how
the average size of the DLE in the estimate phase is lowered
once the average has gotten above the tape size cut-off.
What I mean is, since actually live estimates are not performed
and archive data is relied on for the estimate, how does the
new lower size get averaged in, as there are no new level 0
archives since planner deselects the level 0 backups for the
particular DLE.
I realize I could forget that DLE to calculate an estimate
but that causes its own problems, which is why we where using
server estimates to begin with.
Is there a way to override or force a level 0 to allow the
moveing-average to recalculate ?
