I assume this is an edited version of "Can't opendata output stream: Connection refused", right? That comes when the driver tries to connect to the port the taper has provided. Can you check the taper debug logs to see if it's failing for some reason, and also check the amdump logs to see what the taper's reply to the PORT-WRITE command looks like?
