I was finally able to do a workaround by editing
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Amanda/DB/Catalog.pm and commenting out the die
line.
($secs, $kb, $str) = ($str =~ /^\[sec ([0-9.]+) kb (\d+) .*\]
?(.*)$/)
#or die("'$s'");
I cant read perl so this probably might not be a good idea but for now I am
able to use amrecover fine. I would still like to have the correct fix if
someone out there has one or if there is a build that has this fixed already.
Thank you!
