I'll give that a try, besides the socket problems I'm having
with 3.1.2 I've also had a couple of jobs hang out on clients
and cause failures in DLE during subsequent amdump runs.

I didn't run a new configure, but I do see a current timestamp
on the Makefile.

Should I re-run ./configure ?
