(Amanda got me back a host.key that I botched the other day. The cert would have been useless without it. After receiving the cert from the authority, I had done a `cp host.cert host.key > host.pem` instead of `cat host.cert host.key > host.pem`. My brain thought it knew where it was going, but my fingers found the more traveled command. Ten minutes later, Amanda had it back for me.)
