There is a 'amdump_client' command that can be run on an amanda linux
client.
I'm not sure it can be run on window.

are asking it they can schedule a backup on demand or when they're in
the office, lots of road warriors here. I'm fairly certain the answer
is "not possible" but this would be nice. The only thing I can think
of is some mechanism where the servers gets a request and spools the
dump the holding disk which would get picked up during the nightly
run.
