Thank you so much for the quick response,now my only obstacle left ,is
how to set the dumptype up.I've already tried to figure that out with
the man pages,but I ended up being even more confused.All I need is a
list of some sort that will show me exactly the options and formats to
configure the dumptype in the disklist and perhaps also in the amanda.conf . my
current settings are
`simple-gnutar-global' which of course is wrong.I need to set the server to
communicate with the clients through
ssh and not use compression for the meantime .A good example of an actual
disklist configuration would also
do the trick for me.
