ctimeout option not working

I am using amanda 3.3.1 from Debian v7.0 (wheezy) and found that
option ctimeout (Maximum amount of time that amcheck will wait for
each client host) is ignored.  Is this a know problem?  Is it solved
in amanda 3.3.4?

I have a machine that takes more than 30 seconds to reply to a
"amcheck DailySet -c host".  I have changed the ctimeout to 120 but
amcheck still gives timeout after only 30 seconds.
