Hello, for some laptops I plan to create a configuration where the laptops trigger the own backup as soon as they connect to our office network.
amdump_client works fine so far, I can trigger a dump of the DLEs the
server knows about. (I was trapped for a while with 'dump-limit' … :)
But it seems that amdump gets started with '--no-taper', thus entering
degraded mode immediatly.
Is there any way to avoid this? I'd be happy if the client can just
trigger the backup, leave the decision to the planner. And in case there
is enough holding disk space this should be a level 0 backup from time
to time.
Best regards from Dresden/Germany
Viele Grüße aus Dresden
