I just installed a new Amanda server, version 3.3.6 on FreeBSD 10.1 amd64. There seems to be a cosmetic issue during selfcheck, client tries to execute something called /usr/bin/sw_vers, which does not exist (snippet of selfcheck.debug attached). Selfcheck succeeds despite of this problem.

selfcheck try to return the distro and version of the OS.
How can it get that information on freebsd? or other bsd?
How to get the 'FreeBSD' string and the '10.1' string?
