I just did a `ps -ef | grep amanda` and got nothing but my grep.
We'll see if it runs tonight, but I didn't kill any processes or do anything that would have. Amanda
seems to do that itself when it is getting estimates and so on.

I can't remember what caused the hang, off hand, but I remember a hung
process on a client machine once cause behavior something like this...
