OK, patched my local overlay back to:
* don't apply that patch
* don't depend on swig
* don't do that *.swg cleanup
The naming convention of upstream amanda always gives me some headache
("-" vs. "_" ...), but the latest ebuild up here compiles fine, with or
without swig installed:

(amcheck works fine ... will do some amflush next)
