Does anyone have any updates on

It does not list the versions that I have, so I'm not sure I should simply assume they are
compatible, given the history.
I am running Ubuntu 14.04 on a SuperMicro amd64 platform. It has gnutar (as tar) version 1.27.1
(reported by tar -- aptitude shows it as Version: 1.27.1-1.)
I am running Amanda 3.3.6.
I'm just interested in checking everything, since I got no replies to my post on 12/11/15 @2:58PM
