I’m having a problem with XFS backups, what I’ve checked is :

1) Do I have xfsdump/xfsrestore support compiled in amanda:
# amgetconf --list build | grep xfs
xfsdump
xfsrestore

2) Is the filesystem type recognised correctly (and this is strange):
# grep xvda5 /var/log/amanda/client/DailySet1/sendsize.20160321150334.debug
1458569016.238440: sendsize: calculating for device /dev/xvda5 with xfs
1458569016.238510: sendsize: running "/sbin/dump 0Ssf 1048576 - /dev/xvda5"
1458569016.246716: sendsize: /dev/xvda5: Bad magic number in super-block while
opening filesystem

so.. however amanda recognise the filesystem type as xfs, it’s trying to use
/sbin/dump ? Does anyone know what can be the reason?

I’m using amanda-client version 2.6.1 installed with rpm from Centos 6
repositories.

cheers,
marcin
