Why would it compile then when I add "-lssl" ? > What is the configure output about ssl? what exactly do you mean? > What's the output of: pkg-config --cflags --libs libssl -lssl - I also had to add perl package JSON to the dependencies, btw. (trying to write a first working ebuild for amanda-3.4 on gentoo linux)
