Failed to backup my /home/gene directory about 30 hrs back, suggested I
add a splitsize. Couldn't find that except as tape_splitsize. Added that
to the .conf.

This morning I get 4 error msgs saying its been deprecated. This is the
same install and versions that been used here, for several years.

Note level 0 above.

3.3.7p1 on the server, which is also the client. I had added a 3rd vtape, and
made the vtape's 50GB
That however will quickly fill the vtape drive. So I need to restore the 34GB
size of a vtape.

The error messages:
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/Daily//amanda.conf", line 488: warning: Keyword
tape_splitsize is deprecated.
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/Daily//amanda.conf", line 488: warning: Keyword
tape_splitsize is deprecated.

So what am I supposed to setup so it can splice a dump across 2 or more vtapes?
Apparently the examples in the 3.3.7p1 tarball aren't exactly up to date.

Thanks.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
