Thank you Olivier. But I had a pulmonary embolism 3 years ago that I
think had a cost in the IQ dept. I sure as heck don't recommend it as a
way to die. Scary as can be. They are generally 99% fatal, but while
he's had several good opportunities to put a ~30~ to my story, he's not
done it yet. Interesting comment by the ultrasound tech late in that 10
days in the shop, he came into the exam room, spent a long hour looking
into me with his probes, commenting on the enlarged condition of my
heart due to its trying to get some blood past the blockage, but said it
would be back to normal in a week or 3, looked some more, valiantly
trying for a good excuse to open me up and fix something, but finally
sat back with a disappointed look on his face and declared I ought to be
good for another 20 years. With a straight face I said thats good news,
then laughed. Anyway, I'm still here and still playing with dangerous
machinery that I've converted to run as CNC controlled stuff since I
retired, more or less, from broadcast engineering. I'm still keeping
the local Ma & Pa radio station on the air though. He tells me that as
someone who actually fixes things, I am a dying breed. And he's right.
I've been chasing electrons for a living since around 1950, on an 8th
grade education. It has been a wild ride at times, generally well paid.

As several have pointed out, I am still looking at the green side of the
grass.
