This may be a disaster, but I've put 3.5.1 back in, but I've rebuilt it by
changing my build scripr, gh.cf to

If this works with a softlink from /etc/amandates to
/usr/local/var/amanda/amandates,
the real file on this machine.
I'll copy that /home/amanda tree to all the clients, and build it on
each and install the new client.
Unless Nathan comes up with a better idea. It will at least ensure that
amandates will be covered AND will bypass this bug.
And amcheck purrs like a kitten. Yet... We'll see if amandates gets
updated in the morning,
