I currently have 240 Vtapes in a single changer. Suppose I have 3 "departments", sales, research, and support.
Could I create 3 dumptype definitions so that all "sales" DLEs are backed up to a tape pool consisting of vtapes 1-80, "research" to vtapes 81-160, and "support" to vtapes 161-240? If so, then a single config could handle keeping the various data separated while still maintaining balance etc. Of course, is the balance on a tape pool basis or on a total configuration basis?
