Greetings all; One of my 'machines", an rpi-3b may be booted from one of 7 or 8 u-sd cards, each of which a different "install" on it.
The machine name doesn't change, and most of the dle's are valid regardless of which u-sd card was used to boot it. The newest u-sd install is a net-install of debian-arm buster. I need some ideas on how to separate this into backups that stay with the installs. So how to the rest of you handle this, so in the event of needing to do a recovery, one is prevented from mixing up packages between distro's? Thanks for any good ideas.
