And crashed the armbian on a rock64, supposedly stretch based? Gotta be something different, someplace. I do not recall if the armbian was a merged install, and its powered down anyway, but it is a data point, arm often equals a crash when amanda touches certain ones.
I just spent an hour looking at picnc's /var/log/amanda stuff, nothing looks out of place.
