hmm. It's possible that mine were after adding a holding disk that was hdd. My holding disks that
were in place before this were both ssd.
The new hdd space is an LV on a large raid array.

Just as an additional data point, I have recently been seeing this on a
server that is running Ubuntu 16.04 Server LTS and Amanda 3.5.1. It was
my impression that the same numbers every day could be cleared by
locating the DLE in the holding disk and removing all the blocks for it,
but I haven't tracked the recurrences as carefully as I probably should.
Yes, we also noticed that it's holding disk related.
The guy at that particular site said that this started when we added a
new holding disk. One change was from hdd to ssd, another the change of
filesystem from xfs to ext4 (and even one more change: other SATA
controller).
So we reformatted the holding disk now, just for a test: ext4 again. So
far no errors, but we will have to wait a week or so.
