I've seen discussions of amcrypt and pgp (I confess I haven't followed them closely), but is it
possible to configure amanda to handle keys for the native LTO drive encryption? If it makes a
difference, I have three different Amanda backup servers, two with LTO7 and one with LTO6. One of
the servers has two LTO7 drives in an Overland T48 library. The other server that has an LTO7 may
get a second drive. It is a T24. The drives are all IBM. I have already configured the LTO7 servers
to use hardware compression on the tape drives.
