Great news! I updated the amavisd-new web page to include a reference to the project in the contributed section, plus I have added notes to README.milter and README.protocol. From: Ben Poliakoff > Has anyone tried this new code? Has anyone pushed 100k+ messages/day > through this milter? I'd love to try it on my primary installation but > I'd also love to hear some reports about the stability of this code. Note that sendmail milter is a pre-queue content filter (in Postfix terms), which has its advantages as well as disadvantages. The main disadvantage is inability to reliably control load on the host, so I would be much worried trying to push a large load on such a mailer. See my comments at the beginning of README.sendmail-dual and the document README_FILES$/SMTPD_PROXY_README (Pros and cons of before-queue content filtering) in the Postfix documentation.
