...snip... | | Just a follow up on this for Debian users. I installed clamav-daemon | from volatile, and the clamd.conf file I got is: | | LocalSocket /var/run/clamav/clamd.ctl | FixStaleSocket | User clamav | AllowSupplementaryGroups | ScanMail | ScanArchive | ArchiveMaxRecursion 5 | ArchiveMaxFiles 1000 | ArchiveMaxFileSize 10M | ArchiveMaxCompressionRatio 250 | ReadTimeout 180 | MaxThreads 12 | MaxConnectionQueueLength 15 | LogFile /var/log/clamav/clamav.log | LogTime | LogFileMaxSize 0 | PidFile /var/run/clamav/clamd.pid | DatabaseDirectory /var/lib/clamav | SelfCheck 3600 | ScanOLE2 | ScanPE | DetectBrokenExecutables | ScanHTML | ArchiveBlockMax | | So, the only thing I can think of is mess-mate either edited the | original and removed AllowSupplementaryGroups, or had a copy lying | around from a previous install. Volatile works fine. | http://lurker.clamav.net/message/20050607.142847.6241a2e9.en.html | | Gary V | I don't know what was happen exactly, don't remember. But 1 thing i'm sure, i didn't remove anything :) So after looking what is installed say with synaptic; not any /etc/clamav/clamd.conf is supposed to be installed. So i had to add it but can't thing from where. I've tryed apt-cache search clamd.conf => didn't find !
