Hi,
we are running amavis-new 2.3.3 on our mail server. We are running
postfix-2.0.6-8, amvisd-new 2.3.3, spamassassin 3.1.0 and clamav 0.87.1.
Perl is v5.8.0.
Everything is running fine, except that since the upgrade to a newer
amavisd-new (i think it was 2.3.1) we have the little problem that
amavis logs the following multiple times a day:
Nov 14 11:25:30 mail amavis[30650]: (30476-06) run_command:
child process [30650]: Failed to exec SCALAR(0x8738c90) lq
/home/amavis/tmp/amavis-20051114T111413-30476/parts/p004.exe: No such
file or directory at /usr/local/sbin/amavisd line 1885.\n
The message is sent to syslog with "warn" level like 10 to 20 times.
Mail traffic is around 1000 messages a day (~250 spam and 120 virus
infected).
I hoped that a new version of amavisd-new would maybe fix that but sadly
the upgrade to amavisd-new 2.3.3 didn't change anything. As said above
everything seems to work correctly. Messages are correctly spam and
virus filtered and transfered to ist reciepient(s). But the
syslog-message in warn level isn't something i want to ignore.
Maybe anyone has a hint how to solve/work around this.
