  Did you actually do a "make install" as root in the amavisd ports
directory?  That should have caused all the %% stuff in the script to
magically be substituted with the right values.

  You can't just copy the FreeBSD-provided scripts as is, they have to
go through a parameter substitution process which the ports Makefiles
take care of.
