I think in order to get the full picture we might need to see the
entire $banned_filename_re section. I took a stock 2.3.2 amavisd.conf
and uncommented that line, and I was able to pass routersim.zip and
routersim2.zip. Is it possible one of the files was not zipped but
was instead a plain .exe? If in your tests you are sending zipped .exe
files like I am, then how is that different from someone else sending
a zipped .exe? Are you not a user too? It would only be different
if you are set up to bypass banned, or are a banned_lover or some
other setting makes you different from other senders.
