BTW .cab files generate these messages at $log_level 0;:

 do_cabextract: can't parse toc line:

 do_cabextract: can't parse toc line: All done, no errors.

The first 8 bytes of the file are are exactly the same as a cab file
([EMAIL PROTECTED]@[EMAIL PROTECTED]@ shows on my vim screen) so I would think 
file(1) being
able to differentiate it from a .cab file may not look promising.
