hi list, i hope this is te right place to post my problem...
my setup is sendmail (8.13.8) with amavisd-new (2.4.2) and spamassassin (3.1.4) running with sendmail-milter and everything runs just the way i want it, virus/spam/bad-h are sorted out/passed the way i want. except for one thing: some of my cusomers encountered the problem, that their emails were tagged as spam - this happened because their IP was blacklisted. is there a way to lower the SA score for users, that have authenticated to sendmail (SMTP AUTH) to avoid this? or disable the spam check for this users. i read lots of hints (setting sendmail-server ip to trusted_ network etc...) but nothing worked out for me. i found out, that SA has some kind of parsing mechanism for detecting authenticated users (parse Recieved header), but how do i activate this when using amavisd-new? thanks in advance MK ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
