Ok, I realized that what I had done had no way out. That's not the way
to install the new amavisd-new, and that it's not that easy.

I reverted to the easy installed apt-get version, and later I'll
evaluate to install the testing version of the .deb package.

Any recomendations?

apt-get installed amavisd-new (20030616p10-5) so I gues I'll still
have the lost connection problem, although I set the wait_timeout =
60000, so this might help.
