Seems as if the antivir binary was updated today and since then, log indicate that, the 'extra' notifications have begun. It seems as if everytime the antivir programm is run it generates log output - no matter if it found something or not.
Even running it with the addtional "-r" switch (i.e. log only viruses and warnings) does not silence the program. My current guess is, it's a bug in current antivir: # /usr/bin/antivir --version 7.2.0.16 operating system: Linux (glibc 2.2) product version: 2.1.8-38 engine version: 7.2.0.16 packlib version: 7.2.0.1 (supports 32 formats) vdf version: 6.36.0.16 I'll just wait if anybody else has run into that problem. For now I'll simply deactivate the notifications... [EMAIL PROTECTED] * Patrick Ben Koetter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > We run Antivir on a customers server.
