Hello List: I have just gone live with my own spamserver using postfix, spamassasin and amavis and it is working rather ok aside a few hic ups. I am noticing that probably 60-70% of the spam I am receiving is being caught by amavis. However, what else can I do to lower the percentage of spam that is still getting through? My spam settings are so that anything wit ha score greater than 6.3 is denied. I really don't want to lower that boundary since some of the real emails my users get are scoring about 3 to 4 points. Is there anything else I can do? Perhaps download more rule sets for spamassasin? Would that make a big difference?
