Okay - I need some help here. I have a server that is giving me some real
prolems. My postfix queue starts to creep (into the thousands of messages),
and if I restart amavisd and flush the queue then it will catch up fairly
quickly and work for awhile and start filling up again. I have had my
$max_servers anywhere from 4 to 20 with this behavior. Is there perhaps
something I should change with max_requests to help this out? It seems to me
like some of the amavisd threads just "go to sleep" and thus shutting them
down/restarting is all that helps. So maybe I should actually be "decreasing"
the max_requests to make them restart more often?

Any suggestions welcome!

Danita
